I, Chad Chang,17, a first-year A-level student at Cottingham High School,am privileged and determined to join the UKYP because I have a firm conviction that it is a moral dutyfor a capable individual like me to devote himself to improve society.There is no better channel than the UKYP that may convey all teenagers’ voices. I do my best to keep myself open minded and flexible in order to cope with the animosities brought by different people. I regularly volunteer in the “welcoming week”,sponsored by the International Student Office,University of Hull, to receive new students in Manchester Airport. The volunteering involves team working, and I enjoy taking responsibilities and direct fellow volunteers in the operation. As a creative person with a versatile cultural background, it may allow me to appreciate our society from unconventional angles. Given such a privilege, I am inevitably in a good position to contribute to the UKYP.
